Professional Information

With 16 years of my professional career, I have spent the last 5 years dedicated to education in IB schools, including 3 years of international experience in Uzbekistan and Thailand. My diverse professional background encompasses working with various educational systems, including IB (PYP, MYP, DP), Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE), and Uzbek Curriculum syllabus. I thrive on the challenge of engaging with students across different curricula and integrating the IB transdisciplinary and interdisciplinary education approach. As a “Lifelong Learner”, I am passionate about continuous growth in areas such as coordination, teaching, and subject matter expertise.

Career Objective:

To become a successful IB Educator, I intend to leverage my skills, academic qualifications, and steadfast commitment to contribute to the growth of the school community and simultaneously foster my own professional development within the organization. With strong technical, functional, and communication skills, along with a wealth of experience, I am well-equipped to tackle the challenges of this dynamic career. Specialties as IB ICT Coordinator and Educator

   My areas of interest in teaching are ICT as a transdisciplinary unit in IB PYP, Interdisciplinary IB MYP/DP Design Technology and ITGS Subjects.

       To support effective teaching and learning I develop myself as an Apple Distinguished Educator and Google Certified Educator (Level 1 or Level 2).

   I am deeply interested in the integration of ICT Tools (Hardware and software) in teaching and learning. I strongly encourage the use of questioning, listening, writing, and reflection as a means of encouraging reciprocal conversation.

   I am willing to provide technical services to the academic needs or requests and implement and manage all educational and administrative technology programs and systems in the school.

      I love to arrange Professional Development (PD) sessions on IT hardware and software for all staff. Prepare the annual IT budget in coordination with the IT Director.

   I feel happy to engage myself in the configuration, expansion, and management of the school IT infrastructure, and maintain the security of all technology systems.

As a System Administrator (SA), I played a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the HMIS environment, conducting technical research and maintaining servers and associated infrastructure/tools. I took responsibility for configuring, patching, and upgrading hardware, operating systems, and software based on Vendor recommendations and Company standards.

In the realm of system administration, I installed and rebuilt servers, configured hardware, and managed Windows Server (2012 r2 and 2016), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group policy, Security, and sharing permissions for US-Bangla Medical College And Hospital data centers. I planned and directed health information management in line with accrediting and regulatory standards, overseeing day-to-day operations and managing HIMS staff/resources.

My responsibilities also included ensuring successful backups and performing restores, assisting project teams during planning stages, responding to incident tickets, configuring server software and hardware, and collaborating with server and network engineers. I implemented automated approaches for system administration tasks and conducted regular security monitoring and patching to prevent intrusions. Additionally, I performed daily backup operations, reviewed file systems regularly, and maintained operational documentation and procedures. I identified and resolved performance and capacity issues, performed ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

I take charge of configuring and maintaining a Factory level network under a domain server. Additionally, I am responsible for establishing and monitoring Fiber and E1 links, coordinating with vendors and the Head Office. The scope of my duties extends to overseeing and maintaining Edible Oil and Power Plants, as well as supporting user-level ERP software.

 

I manage the maintenance of the Panasonic PABX system, handle additions to new connections, and maintain Fax printers and Photocopy machines. Furthermore, I am involved in setting up and maintaining operating systems and server configurations, providing user-level IT support, and keeping a log of required repairs and maintenance for IT equipment. Additionally, I play a role in preparing IT Service Request Forms (SRF) and ensuring the maximum accessibility of technology. I am dedicated to offering orientation to new users and providing training on the potential uses of existing technology to the staff.

I started my journey as an intern system engineer at Bangladesh National Parliament Secretariat, where I was entrusted with various responsibilities such as Windows administration, network operating center (NOC) administration, LAN/WAN administration, and intrusion detection and prevention (IDP) monitoring. Additionally, I managed FTP servers, AD/DNS, wireless access points, and load balancers. I played a pivotal role in designing and implementing the Digital Recording System for Parliament Debates and meetings, while also providing ongoing IT training to Honorable Members of Parliament.

 

During my tenure, I evaluated and reconfigured the company's Linux/Windows OS, enhancing system security through the setup and maintenance of the Security Manager. I researched, recommended, and implemented network enhancements for improved reliability and performance. I conducted system upgrades, maintained high system availability, and provided scalable solutions to support business growth. Additionally, I actively contributed to monitoring the cloud LAN, maintaining and providing ICT support for over 800 computers, ensuring security, troubleshooting network issues, and managing Active Directory user accounts and policies. I attended IT-related meetings, participated in technical evaluations for bids/quotations, advised on vendor selection, and assisted in preparing the IT budget. Beyond regular office hours, I offered immediate support for network and internet connectivity problems and provided orientation to new users. My commitment extended to providing IT training for the esteemed Members of Parliament and contributing to initiatives like E-Parliament and E-Library.
